ABOUT US

Before starting my own insurance company coming I worked as an Independent Insurance agent representing many different carriers. I enjoyed being able to take something as complex as insurance, break it down into smaller understandable components and then present the most complete solution that I could to match the need of my clients.

Although I enjoyed being able to provide my clients with any type of insurance they needed, something was missing.  I found myself in a place that was overly focused on the quota and the “sales numbers” rather than really loving what I was doing.  However, I wasn’t excited by the thought of starting all over somewhere else.  That is when a friend recommended I look at Aflac.  I said “Aflac?”  He said, “With your ability to explain complex things so others can easily understand the value for them and the way you genuinely care about other people, you would be great at it.”  I quickly learned about Alfac and their reputation as an employer of choice and the difference that supplemental plans can really make for a family with no cost to an employer.  This is an amazing combination!

I am naturally drawn to sales.  I think it is because I enjoy talking to people and finding what we have in common.  When I am with a company that has a product I believe in and that can really help people, I find it very easy to genuinely talk about it with others.  I don’t want them to miss out!  People can sense if you are being genuine with them or if they are being “sold”.  I apply this everyday in my career and believe it will be a key part of my success in the future.

I was born and raised in Bedford, Massachusetts, a small suburb of Boston, and as such am an avid New England sports fan.  It was here that I developed core values for life.  Treat people the way you would want to be treated. Be on time and respect other people’s time.  And, when things don’t work out, ask yourself what can you do differently for a better result.  My family and I moved to Thousand Oaks in my junior year of High School.  This was difficult, but character building.  I learned the California accent very quickly.

I have lived in Camarillo, CA with my wife and three kids for the past 19 years.  I have enjoyed being the team photographer for all of my kids’ sports teams and love to cook Italian for friends, family and even clients.   When I have down time you’ll find that I’ve literally “gone fishing”, which provides serenity in these busy times and reminds me of my roots.
